Strategic Plan Template for Education Networks
This template was developed to assist Regional Sustainability Education Networks to create their own individual Strategic Plans. It may also be helpful for other environmental education networks and EE NSW welcomes you to use this template for your networks. It has been created as part of the EE NSW ‘Equipping Regional Sustainability Education Networks for Creating Change’ Project 2016-2018, with support from the NSW Government’s Environmental Trust.
Know another network? Contact us and let us know.
Interested in starting a new network? If none of these networks meet your needs and you’d like to start something new, please contact us and we’ll see how we can help you.
Green Schools Networks
Local networks for schools are usually coordinated by local government (Councils) or Department of Education Environmental Education Centres (EECs). Member schools often rotate responsibility for hosting a meeting, and guest speakers are invited to present on a particular issue or theme.
Green schools are also encouraged to be part of the Sustainable Schools NSW program, which is managed by EE NSW. Sustainable Schools NSW aims to connect school-based environmental educators with relevant resources, interactive lessons and a like-minded community to help spread the important message of sustainability to future generations.
