(May 2019) Take Me Outside NSW supports teachers, service providers and parents to get kids outdoors and engaged on a project throughout the school year that will help protect their place and our planet.
Take Me Outside NSW aims to support organisations who work with kids (like schools, early learning centres and community groups) to develop a long-term, outdoor environmental project that gets kids outside, supports our environment and builds partnerships with local supporters.
We offer a free ‘one-stop environmental-shop’ for participants to register their project and receive free advice and support to plan, deliver, evaluate and promote an on-the-ground project, either in their school grounds or a natural area nearby. Check out some project ideas here!
For those who are part of organisations such as government agencies, local councils, NGOs and corporates, we are inviting you and your organisation to become supporters to help make projects happen. To join the movement, pledge your support through our website and help educators and kids make a difference.
