Want the inside scoop on how to write the best possible application for the Zayed Sustainability Prize to go in the running to win US100,000 for your high school?
You’re in luck! AAEE NSW recently hosted a webinar to help schools know how to answer the application questions to have the best chance of winning. To give everyone a chance to benefit, we recorded the session for you to download and listen (audio only – 26MB) at your convenience. You can also view the presentation slides with all the details (PDF, 467KB)
You’ll hear from a past winning school and a student leader. Remember, your application needs to cover Innovation, Impact and Inspiration.
Two Australian schools are past winners – Huonville High School won in 2017 and implemented a range of sustainability solutions including retro-fitting an existing school building, and building a bio-digester, a windmill and a bicycle powered cinema. Melbourne Girls’ College also won in 2015.
Entries for the Prize close August 9 2018.
